The purpose of the Women’s Ministry is for every woman to know Christ personally and be committed to extending His Kingdom in her life, home, church, community and throughout the world. The framework of the Women’s Ministry provides an opportunity for each woman to discern and exercise her gifts and abilities to the glory of God in the total work and worship of the church. The goal is that this purpose will become a reality as women are given opportunities to respond to the Gospel and to pray, study the Scriptures, fellowship, and serve the Lord together. The Women’s Ministry recognizes that all ministries and activities of the church are under the authority and guidance of the session.
Our Redeemer Women’s Ministry encourages women to grow in Christ through the following ideas:
- Grounding our members in the faith by providing times for spiritual growth through a variety of venues.
- To help our ladies focus on growing together in our faith and becoming a stronger disciple of Christ.
- Encouraging regular times of fellowship with our sisters in Christ.
- Promoting unity and enriching the church’s ministry by serving others.

Women Nurturing Women
This year, our women’s ministry is focusing on Community. Romans 12:10-13 says:
“Be devoted to one another in brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing
honor. Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord. Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.
Our primary focus for Bible study is threefold:
● study,
● prayer,
● and relationships.
Bible Study:
● Bible studies are hosted all-year-round!
● Fall: We meet from September - November.
● Winter: We meet from January/February - March.
● Summer: We will meet May–August once a month.
Fall Bible Study
I will take my stand at my watchpost And station myself on the tower, And look out to see what he will say to me, And what I will answer concerning my complaint.
Habakkuk 2:1
Ever pour out your heart to someone you know quite well, someone in a position to address the issue you’re raising or the concerns you have, and their response leaves you stunned? “Where did that come from?” you say to yourself. You came seeking answers, certainly; action, definitely. But this? It was the last thing you expected to hear.
The prophet Habakkuk found himself in times not unlike our own—Judah had become morally and spiritually bankrupt. In anguish, Habakkuk cries out to God, essentially saying,“Injustice and evil are everywhere—why are You allowing this to go on?” Our expectations of what, how, and when God will act can lay a trap for us that our enemy is eager to spring.
Here’s a little exercise we all need from time to time.
Say the instructions below out loud, in order.
#1: I am not God.
#2: Repeat #1.
God will certainly judge sin, and defend the righteous. However, we’re often stunned speechless at the people, things, and events he uses to bring glory to himself and accomplish his purpose
Isaiah 46:10b
Come join us for a 10-week study of this wonderful Old Testament book, and be encouraged — our God reigns supreme, and His kingdom is forever!

Mentoring Ministry:
Heart & Soul
Titus 2:3-5 says:
“Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers
or slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good,
and so train the young women to love their husbands and children,
to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive
to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled.”
We are thrilled that Redeemer has a women's mentoring ministry! In this ministry, women are walking alongside women. Titus 2:3-5 models how women should encourage one another to delight in Jesus as we apply God’s Word to our lives.
Our wonderful mentors co-lead small group meetings. Our fellowship focuses on four important topics:
- practicing accountability,
- praying thoughtfully,
- pondering our book,
- And building community.
Our desire: We pray that these groups of women grow together, draw near to Christ, and – ultimately – become a blessing to our church family.
